If your school consists of younger children, perhaps you could organize a toddler competition. Kids like to run about and this could be fun for them. Exercise for the children and all for a holy cause to raise money for the kindergarden or school. The child could win some attractive prizes too!
Form the toddlers on the line and on the sound of the bell or gun, the toddlers race to the finish line! You could set up a reasonable distance of 50 to 100 metres. Support crew (Mums and Dads) will follow them through!
Alternatively, if you are afraid they might fall and get hurt, perhaps you can have a tricycle race instead and the toddlers will cycle to the finish line. I believe parents will support this great idea too! They will love to enjoy seeing their kids cycling to the finish line!
