School Fundraising Ideas - Balloon Fundraisers

Balloons can be said to be fun and loved by all ages especially kids. Use them as your main idea for school fundraising is sure to make your fundraiser a huge success. Here I provide some balloon fundraising ideas which you could tweak and adjust to fit to your needs.

Balloon Sculpturing

These balloons are long in shape and can be twisted and sculptured to form different items. Some examples would be flowers, animals and swords.

- Have a balloon artist there to create any balloon items the kids want.

- Have a balloon sculpturing workshop where people can learn how to model balloons.

- Have a balloon sculpturing competition where people can compete to see who create the best looking balloon model.

Balloon Bursting

Remember how people like to step on balloons to make them burst and the girls screaming like crazy? This is exactly the idea we are going to use.

This game is best played in a hall or large condoned off area. Each participant have to pay a small fee to participate.

Next, each participant attach a balloon to their leg and all of them get ready inside the hall or large area. Upon the blow of the whistle, everyone will try to step on the balloon of others. If your balloon has burst, you are out. The last one with the balloon left on his or her leg wins the competition.

Balloon Release

This has been tested and it works very well. Very visually stunning and spectacular. The idea is to have the people buy a balloon and a card. He will write his name and details on the card and how to return the card to him. The card is attached to the balloon. Next all the helium balloons are collected and released together. The card that gets returned from the furthest distance by a given date wins the top prize. To attract many people to participate, offer an attractive first prize.
